How We're Funded

I/O (Individual Options) Waiver

I/O Waiver funds are state funds that are managed by the county that an individual resides in. These funds are used to pay for Quest for Independence’s services to individuals with disabilities. These individuals have services provided by a program of their choice. Services include all aspects of the QFI programs, including day habilitation, vocational and supported employment.

ICF/MR

ICF/MR stands for Intermediate Care Facility for people with Mental Retardation. The Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded is an intense level of service that is always provided in a residential setting. If a person is receiving ICF/MR services, Quest for Independence my enter into a contract with that provider to provide Day Program Services.

Private Pay

Quest for Independence does accept individuals who are private pay. Fees are based on an individual’s level of need. Questions should be directed to Matt Mumma.
