The Support You Need for the Care You Give

We created ViaQuest Hospice to make a difference, a difference in every life touched by serious illness. We’ll bring a very special kind of care into your life and the lives of those you love.

Help for Serious Illness

It’s hard to know where to turn for help when facing a serious illness. ViaQuest can improve the quality of life for those living with cancer, COPD and other lung diseases, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, Alzheimer’s, dementia or Parkinson’s.  These diseases slowly decrease an individual’s ability to live life to its fullest. There comes a time when seeking a cure may no longer be possible or in one’s best interest and the focus turns to quality of life.  When that happens ViaQuest Hospice may be the answer. Our care is not focused on the disease, but on pain relief and symptom control, making it easier for you to keep your focus where it should be – on living more fully.

Care Completely Tailored to You

Together with you, your family and your physician, we’ll create a plan of care completely tailored for your life style, goals and wishes. Since our care is about enriching life, the skills and level of care we bring are unique and broad. Our team of caregivers include: hospice physicians, nurses expertly trained in symptom control and pain relief, hospice aides to help with personal care, chaplains for support, volunteers for friendly visits and family caregiver support. This entire skill set combines to provide a comprehensive solution and true support system in your home. Care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And emergency trips to the ER are often reduced or avoided all together.

Who Pays for Care?

We also don’t want you to worry about costs for care, medication or medical equipment. Our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances. So you get everything you need in relation to your illness including medications and medical equipment.

Support for Family Caregivers

One of the biggest benefits of our care is its support for the family caregiver. We bring in an extra layer of care, much needed stress relief and practical support that shares in the caregiving. We also help family caregivers feel in control by providing education on the disease and ensuring they know what to expect and have someone to talk to about what worries them.  We’re also here for emotional support and assistance in gaining any needed resources.

When is the Best Time to Start Care?

Our patients often tell us they wish they had started hospice care sooner. Our support is most effective when we can help early on, this helps ensure you gain the full benefit of our care and support. Many physicians find that ViaQuest Hospice greatly enhances and extends the care they provide and that hospice care extends the lives of their patients. Hospice care is always a choice, patients can go off of services at any time to seek any new treatments if they choose. So it may be time to consider help from ViaQuest Hospice. You or your family can request our services, you don’t need to wait until your physician recommends hospice. Simply give us a call at 855.289.1722 and we’ll help determine if our services are right for you.
